Komedia Bath receives award at the Bath Life Awards
Earlier this month Komedia Bath received the 2013 Arts award at the Bath Life Awards. Beating off competition from The Ustinov Studio and Nick Cudworth Gallery, this prestigious accolade goes to show what an important offering they bring to Bath’s vibrant arts scene.
Whilst Bath has an abundance of annual festivals offering everything from classical music and film to comedy and literature, Komedia Bath is able to offer the experience of high quality performances all year round in one of the City’s most stunning venues. Bath’s overwhelmingly cultural audiences have so much to choose from and in the four years since they opened, Komedia has become a firm favourite selling nearly 50,000 tickets every year to audiences predominantly from Bath and the surrounding area; Komedia is a truly local venue with the ability to bring the best national and international acts to the city.
