A New Year Treat – Count Arthur on ITVX!
All three series of Count Arthur Strong’s TV sitcom will be available on ITVX, the UK’s newest streaming service, in early 2023. Exact transmission dates on ITVX will be announced shortly. The critically acclaimed TV sitcom, in which Count Arthur stars alongside Rory Kinnear, Zahra Ahmadi, Andy Linden and co first aired on BBC2 in 2013. It was nominated for the BAFTA for Best Sitcom and Best Writing along with five Comedy Awards nominations. A further two series aired on BBC1 in 2015 and 2017.
Count Arthur Strong stepped onto TV from his hit BBC Radio 4 sitcom Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show! That series ran from 2005 for seven series, picking up the Sony Award for Best Radio Sitcom. Count Arthur continued to air on Radio 4 with regular Christmas Specials, though he will not be making an appearance on the radio this festive season. The Count Arthur Strong TV sitcom, which featured at number 3 in the Radio Times poll of the most missed TV shows of the 21st Century, is also currently available on Amazon Prime and in the USA can now be viewed on Hoopla Digital and Acorn TV.
