Gamarjobat presents: Rock’N’Roll Penguin

Gamarjobat presents: Rock’N’Roll Penguin

gam3Brighton Fringe & Edinburgh Fringe 2007, Broadway run New York 2009

Fresh from 7 sell-out shows at Komedia and award for Best International Act (Brighton Festival, 2006) as part of their debut UK tour, Japanese mime duo, Gamarjobat, return to Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year with a brand new show in their own inimitably silent style.

“A riotous, euphoric expolsion of joyous physical comedy. A fast-paced, perfectly choreographed feast of visual gags” Chortle

Ketch (red mohican) and Hiropon (Yellow mohican) received widespread critical acclaim when they made their Edinburgh debut in 2004 with a theatrical show inspired by the blockbuster movie, Rocky. Since then the duo have picked up a string of awards and enlivened stages all over the World with a perfectly choreographed slapstick style they have made all their own.

Their brand new show ‘A Shut Up Comedy from Japan 2’ is a poignantly humorous mini-blockbuster featuring cops and robbers, love and loss, rags and riches, sight and myopia…Oh, and a huge pile of dirty crockery…

Without a word, Gamarjobat leave their audiences speechless with laughter.
