Count Arthur Strong's
Command Performance

Count Arthur Strong's new show, 'Command Performance', is so new, not even he knows he's doing it yet. Don't worry about that though, it's never stopped him before! So get your Maltesers out, roll your trouser legs up and sit back and enjoy this potentially wonderful show. Pausing only to glance up from your program to ask when the interval is. I can guarantee you; you'll have never seen anything like it, whatever it is.

Arthur is ably assisted in the Command Performance by Terry Kilkelly playing Malcolm and Renee, and Dave Plimmer as Dad’s Army’s Alan Leslie.

"Probably the best Count Arthur show to date in which Steve Delaney turns his character's curmudgeonly egotism and decrepit showmanship into and artform"
The Telegraph

Get him on the real Command Performance, now!"

“The Greatest Story Ever Told”

Count Arthur Strong’s The Greatest Story Ever Told is classic territory for a man whose thirst for knowledge knows no bounds. Who could forget his previous lecture, Forgotten Egypt – except him perhaps! This time, he delves into the biblical archives and unravels ancient myths and mysteries surrounding Noah’s Ark, The Ten Commandments, The Feeding of the Five Thousand and, naturally, Father Christmas! As ever, he will attempt to instruct and educate, and as ever, he will inevitably fail.

Count Arthur combines sardonic wit and old school sensibilities with a touch of Basil Fawlty. His forgetfulness and slight deafness result in sporadic and unnecessary shouting reminiscent of an elder relation, to whom everyone can relate.

"...surely the most fully formed comic character since Alan Partridge."
Metro

"this is a very funny man"
The Scotsman

"Quite wonderful..."
